Alternative Fuels Please

As part of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, the Ford Motor Company is part of the initiative to support alternative fuel automobiles in Mexico. The alliance is a trade association that includes the BMW Group, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Porsche, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

According to Fred Webber, the president and CEO of the said alliance, “Alternative fuel autos of all kinds are a reality today. Whether it’s achieving greater fuel economy or reducing America’s reliance on oil as a primary fuel source, automakers remain committed to populating America’s roadways with innovative vehicle technologies.”

This actually is a good move. After all, with the skyrocketing prices, most motorists and auto owners are spending much of their hard-earned money on fuel alone when they could be spending it on other important things like replacement parts for their vehicles.
